Valerie Bertinelli

acValerie Anne Bertinelli, born April 23, 60[2], is an American actor. At the age of teen, Bertinelli gained fame as Barbara Cooper Royer, a character on the comedy One Day at a Time. Her performance earned her 2 Golden Globe Awards in this role for Best Actress for a TV Film, Miniseries and Series. Following that she made her debut as an adult on the sitcom Touched by an Angel 2001-2003 as well as Melanie Moretti in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland 2010-2015. The latter series won her an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2012, she received an honorary star to be a part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli has signed a contract to join Food Network in December 2021. She has been hosting various shows on Food Network such as Valerie's kitchen (2015-2023) as well as The Kids Baking Competitions (2015-present). In 2015, the latter was awarded two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominees. In December 2021 Bertinelli has signed a new contract to Food Network.Bertinelli was married to music producer Eddie Van Halen from 1981 up to 2007. With whom she has a son named Wolfgang. From 2011 until 2022, she was engaged to Tom Vitale.
